About to ELCD 2026
The International Conference on Green Energy and Low Carbon Development (ELCD 2026) will be held in Harbin, China in 2026. The purpose of this conference is to gather experts, scholars, researchers, and industry elites in the field of green energy and low-carbon development from around the world to jointly explore the latest research achievements, technological progress, and future development trends in this field. The conference focuses on the core themes of green energy and low-carbon development, covering multiple key areas. In terms of green energy, we will conduct in-depth research on efficient development and utilization technologies for renewable energy such as solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, and bioenergy, explore how to improve energy conversion efficiency, reduce costs, and promote the large-scale application of renewable energy; Pay attention to the research progress and potential applications of cutting-edge energy such as hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion energy. The low-carbon development agenda includes low-carbon industry planning and layout, exploring how to optimize industrial structure and reduce the proportion of high carbon industries; Research on the construction of low-carbon transportation systems, such as the promotion of electric vehicles and the application of intelligent transportation systems; Exchange low-carbon building design and construction technologies to reduce building energy consumption and carbon emissions; It also involves carbon trading market mechanisms, carbon footprint accounting and evaluation, providing policy and technical support for global low-carbon transformation.

All full paper submissions to the ELCD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ELCD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icgelcd@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
